Paul’s career spans more than a decade in Business Development and Luxury Services, including Real Estate Investment and development, Project Management, Events and Concierge Services, following a Foundation Course in Latin American Studies with a focus on Politics and International Relations, at the University of Southampton, Paul continued his education with an Undergraduate in Business Development and Entrepreneurship, at the Bristol Business School UWE.

Having worked for several years in one of his family’s enterprises, Koolwaters Group, where he still mains an active role in international Business Development and Management Consultancy, Paul moved to Dublin, where he co-founded a high fashion consultancy and modeling agency with the first high fashion photographic studio in Dublin, The Makeover Studio, in partnership with a leading Irish media, entertainment and fashion personality.

Paul sold his share in the successful Dublin business after expanding the concept to other cities in Ireland, relocating to London to study a Postgraduate in Architectural Interior Design, at the prestigious KLC School of Design in London. The following years were spent living between London and Portugal, working for leading property developers in Mayfair, and establishing a business focused on interior design and project management in Portugal, alongside managing his family’s property portfolio in Portugal, and importing, distributing and marketing Portuguese fine foods and wines. Paul’s lifelong passion for exceptional Luxury Services, Property Investment and Development, and a desire to help make Portugal more attractive to international HNW’s, set the course to founding Caravela Lifestyle Group.

In his role as Chief Executive Officer at CLG, Paul is continuously pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve as a company. Growing up in a family with strong ties to Africa, he has always been driven to explore new commercial markets on the continent, especially in booming Sub Saharan countries. Today CLG is involved in Real Estate, Hospitality, Investment and Development Projects in Uganda, and is developing new business opportunities in other countries in the region.

A lifelong passion for charity and preservation of the environment has led to the recent development of Sustainability, Philanthropy, Social and Community projects in Eastern Africa. Paul is a representative of the Anglo Portuguese Society in Portugal and speaks English, Portuguese, French, Spanish and Italian.
